Explorer 30 is for divers aged 15 years and older, keeps the academic side light and focuses heavily on diving! With a maximum depth of 30m, you’ll embark on 5 thrilling dives that are all about fun, learning, and exploration.
The course includes 3 mandatory dives: Deep (with an optional Trimix), Navigation, and Buoyancy - along with 2 electives. Each dive is crafted to build upon what you learned in the Open Water 20 course, with skills like buoyancy helping you stand out as a diver and giving you a comfort level in the water that typically takes dozens of dives to achieve for TRADITIONALLY TRAINED buddies.
The certification entitles the holder to dive with a certified dive buddy to a maximum depth of 30m in conditions similar to or better than those experienced during training.
Be a minimum of 15 years old.
Minimum of 5 open water dives consisting of 3 mandatory dives (buoyancy control, navigation and deep) and 2 elective dives (dry suit, nitrox or wreck).
