About our Training

  • Confined water sessions are held at Astley High School swiming pool, these must be booked in advance
  • Training to be completed within 6 months or course extension fee will apply
  • Additional training sessions outside of course can be arranged at additional cost
  • ALL course prices do not include travel, boat or dive site entry fees
  • Equipment hire is additional on courses above Open Water

  • ​Register with DiveRAID
  • Download your chosen course from the FREe-learning Shop, read the manuals and complete quizzes
  • Contact us to arrange your schedule for confined training (swimming pool) and open water dives (Ellerton, Capernwray, Farne Islands)
  • Final exam will be opened once the course payment is made
  • Attend our facility at GSA for introduction, course orientation and equipment briefing
  • Attend confined training sessions, normally held at Astley High School
  • Attend Open Water days to demonstrate you have mastered the skills taught in confined sessions
